Bumpin' It

These week-by-weeks are harder to do than they look, people! But I have come through for you again. Weeks 25-31! I'm actually at my 32nd week, but I've yet to take my pics. So feast upon the beauty that is a growing baby bump!

Four More Weeks of Fattening

Whoop, Whoop! Another man will soon be in the family! Or, as Kevin likes to quote from that old Geico commercial -

Annnnnnyway... It's a boy. No doubt about it. And I'm feeling so generous today that I'm letting you see some of my baby's first pictures! I feel like he looks different from Levi, more Kevin-y, if that makes sense. You decide.

You can count eight little digits in his two little hands!

And now, the Preggo posts!

Follow The Prophet Quiet Book

Is it me, or is it getting itchy in here? I'm getting the itch to make another Quiet book. It's probably a combo of Levi needing something to keep him entertained on Sundays and wanting to make something for the new baby. I made this quiet book a while ago for a friend, and I always really liked it! It's a take on the LDS Primary song Follow the Prophet (one of my faves.). I think I'll make one for Levi. If you have any ideas on improvements of fun additions I'd love to know, just take a look below..

Left Page: Flowers button on and you can match the colors
Right Page: The cloud swivels so you can see the city before and after it is taken to heaven

Left Page: Beads move up and down like rain
Right Page: 12 hearts for the 12 sons of Abraham to practice counting

Left Page: A tent that opens and closes with a bow
Right Page: A mirror so the child can say "here I am" just like Samuel

Left Page: A whale with a zipper mouth that can open and close
Right Page: A Lion puzzle with velcro

Beginning to get a little pudgy

Whew, I've finally got a few more weeks done and ready to post. You know, this was a whole lot easier last time I was pregnant... I blame Levi. But, honestly, I don't love the work, but I love having these to go back and look at later on. So, it's totally worth the effort. I kind of have to question my sanity a little, though. For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to take the pictures for this pregnancy outside this time, and it has been COLD and FREEZING and MISERABLE and WINDY most of the times I've done it. In my next post I'l let you see a few of my Ultrasound pictures, so look forward to that. I just need to take my weekly photos for it :)

It's Just a Baby in My Belly!

Well what do you know!? It’s taken me over 16 weeks to make my big announcement. I guess it was the fact that I now have to unbutton my pants at the end of every meal that made me realize it was time. My waist is expanding, bladder shrinking, appetite increasing, and veins are beginning to bulge, and I’m in full on pregnancy mode!!! If I were a Pig or a Lion I would actually be wrapping this preggo thing up about now, but alas, I am not… I’m still looking at months here, MONTHS! (Fun fact- one of Levi’s favorite animals is a pig, so he’d LOVE a baby pig brother or sister)

I didn't so much love pregnancy last time around. This time? Still, no. Yuck! Why ME!?! Well, I know why… I just wish I could feel great and be beautiful all the time, and all of my dishes would be done, and dinner made, and hair washed, and Levi clean, and that everyone would be jealous of how together I am and HATE me!!! That’s all I ever wish, now I just wish it in sweatpants through waves of nausea as my hair falls out.

Speaking of animals. Did you know it takes less time to make a baby hippo than it does a person! My little person is still only a little over 4 inches long and already bossing me around. The thought of having two little Levi’s in this world is terrifying to me! But on the bright side, at least I won’t have to nurse a baby hippo.

For Levi I was able to do a week-by-week Pregnancy journal. This time I'm barrrrrrrrrrrrrely able to do it! Like, for real, I'm really barely making this work. I promise to give it my all, for those of you who want to read about a pregnant lady's life. Here are my first 15 weeks. PREGNANCY JOURNAL OVERLOAD!
